Civil Society Alliance for Child Rights in South Asia (CSACRSA) project of CWSN conducted two-day training on child rights for Media Persons in Kathmandu on December. The objectives of the training were to educate them about child rights and to make them responsible for its promotion and protection. It also supports to create a greater space for the children’s issues in the media. Out of total 35 participants in the training, 30 were media workers and the 5 representing national alliance partners.

Similar training was also conducted for additional two days for legal professionals in Kathmandu. The focus of the training was to aware them about their roles in protection of children's right, especially the child who come across law in various of forms, such as offender, victim, witness and dependent of prisoners. The training organized in coordination with Lalitpur Bar Association successfully ran in active participation of 31 legal professionals and 4 alliance partner representatives.
