CWSN has conducted 4 consultation meetings with  alliance partners at Kathmandu, Biratnagar, Pokhara and Dhangadi on June and July 2012  under its Civil Society Alliance for Child Rights in South Asia (CSACRSA) project. The meetings held on 4th, 8th and 16th June in Kathmandu, Biratnagar and Pokhara respectively and July 17th in Dhangadi The meetings  were successful in terms of active participation of the stakeholders.

The major objective of the meeting was to collect feedbacks from  alliance partners about the development of manual for training for stakeholders such as Police, School Administrator, media person, local government, trade union members and Lawyers/Advocate. After this meeting, a concept note will be made as a training content that includes their opinion and views. In long run, when the concept note is developed, Alliance partners also can feel their ownership on it. A total of 80 participants took part in all the meetings. Out of them, 65 represented from Alliance member organizations and remaining 15 were members of District Child Welfare Board (DCWB), National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Media persons and Lawyers.
