CWSN organized a social audit programme on 31st March, 2014 in Pokhara. Around 70 participants attended the programme. They were the representatives of beneficiaries, stakeholders, donor representative and the government officials. Mr. Madhav Prasad Acharya, Chairperson of CWSN chaired the programme. Mr. Dil Bahadur Thapa, representative of beneficiaries inaugurated the programme lighting a lamp. Representatives from stakeholders and government line agencies expressed their views and appreciated CWSN's initiation to organize the social audit programme. The President of NGO Federation Kaski and representative of donor organization stated that this can be a learning opportunity for other organizations willing to organize the programme. The inauguration session was conducted by Mr. Devendra Gurung, Secretary of CWSN.

The inauguration session was followed by presentations and discussion about organization and projects. History and institutional background of the organization were presented by Mr. Sukra Raj Adhikari, Vice President of CWSN. Similarly, Project Coordinators presented the achievements, challenges and learning of their respective projects. The detail about finance was presented by CWSN Treasurer, Ms. Narayani Koirala. In open floor discussion, participants raised questions which were responded by relevant board members and staff. CWSN also had valuable feedbacks from the participants. CWSN President concluded the programme with organization’s commitment and vote of thanks. Stars Foundation UK and Kidasha provided the financial support to organize the programme.
